This is my black border collie, Chase. He was swimming in a pond up in Park City last weekend. I like this picture… I would change the pose just a little bit, but I love his fur all wet, and how the background is washed out.
I love good action Teeter shots. They are actually hard to capture. Most dogs do slow teeters, are just walking, and are kinda boring. Nothing boring about Ryker though!
Here is a border collie doing a nice box turn on the flyball box. As you can see, though, my shutter speed was not fast enough to stop the dog. The shutter speed 1/200 with an f-stop of 3.7. The ISO is 1600 again, in order to gather enough light.
This is a dog who competes locally at agility. I pulled my camera out last Sunday, May 4th, and Took some pictures. I’ll be posting a few of them up in the next week or so.
I like this shot.. however, the dog is not crystal clear. I was focusing on the tire, which is clear. Not sure how to get the dog crystal clear!
Rydick is the companion dog to a friend of mine. He’s a border collie that has had some growing pains, both behavioral and physical. But he is a good boy and he has a great person to teach him the ropes. He’s probably about 18 months old. I loved this expression.
This picture isn’t as crisp as I’d like.. but it’s cute! Tatum and Muffit playing in the back yard. Tatum is the smooth sable collie in the front. Muffit is the little border collie behind her getting mushed.
